There are many students from countries across the globe trying to get funding for their studies, often students fall behind their studies or even worse, they drop out of studies due to lack of funds. often Using scholarships to fund students education is one of the best forms of encouragement, motivation and guarantee to help them reach their full potentials.

We at Metropolitan City College are giving this same kind of study opportunity to deserving students from selected under-developed countries around the world to study for free under our Diploma Scholarship Scheme. Depending on your level of study, there are opportunities available on our annual scholarship scheme and is open to all eligible students from developing countries in Asia, Africa, Pacific Islands/ The Caribbean Islands, Central and South America and central and Eastern Europe, including selected students in UK & Ireland to study in our UK based College via distant learning.

How Much will it Cost?

It costs nothing. That means, Metropolitan City College cover 100% of tuition fees(only) for  any one of their chosen subject for the duration of studies. Students will still have to cover their own expenses such as electricity and Internet costs at their destination.

How do I know if I am eligible to apply?

While the program you are enrolling on does not affect your eligibility to apply, please read the following requirements before applying:

  1. Good grades of academic level of study, and certificate from a reputed place of study/organisation to prove that.
  2. Proficiency in English (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS, for English-language programs).
  3. Your nationality/country of origin. (please see targeted regions mentioned at the opening of this page above).

What should I submit with my scholarship application?

A completed application form, which  includes information about yourself and your contact details, and the following documentation to support your application:

  1. Letter(s) of recommendation
  2. A transcript of grades

An essay on a given topic, e.g  about your chosen area of study

  1. Good grades of academic level of study, and certificate from a reputed place of study/organisation to prove that.
  2. Proficiency in English (e.g. TOEFL/IELTS, for English-language programs).

What should I include in my scholarship essay?

The essay is like your cover letter which you should use to tell us your about your academic achievements, your ambitions and your interests and how they relate to the program you are applying for. Also tell us why you are the best candidate to win our scholarship for this year.

When is the best time to apply for the Metropolitan City College Scholarship?

We run our Scholarship once a year, therefore pay attention to start dates and  deadlines on our website so as not to miss it.

Can Metropolitan City College help me to apply for a scholarship if I am being accepted into a university in the UK or Ireland?

While we are not able to influence the outcomes of such application to universities, we may be able to assist with advise on your application. There are a range of external scholarships to look into.

How do I get help with my scholarship application letter?

To improve your chances of gaining  Metropolitan City College scholarship, do the followings:

  1. Make sure you submit your application online, accompanied by all supporting documentation requested.
  2. Before applying for our scholarship, you should check dates for the deadlines, as any late application will be disqualified.
